In the last week, our Professional and DEI chairs teamed up together with Pitt Women in Business to create an awesome event where we heard from Dr. Victoria Mattingly from Mattingly Solutions!
Dr. Mattingly is the founder and co-owner of Mattingly Solutions which is a consulting firm that helps businesses develop and measure inclusive workplace behaviors. Using data, she is able to help firms build DEI-based strategies that will help firms boost motivation, employee turnover, and profit.
She was able to show us how perseverance is key and being in an industry not typically known to be for women is not something be ashamed of or be put off from. She was amazing to hear from and gave our brothers helpful tips on starting a business from scratch and how making our work environments healthy and inclusive is incredibly important!
